What we collect

finance-forge.ai is a static reference site. We do not require accounts, do not serve ads, and do not run third-party tracking scripts. The only data the site processes is what is strictly necessary to deliver pages to your browser.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server access logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, response code — for short retention periods, used solely for security and reliability. We do not link these logs to any other identifier and do not retain a copy ourselves.

Calculators

All calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter into the income tax calculator (or any other tool) are never sent to a server, never logged, and never leave your device.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. The site uses a single localStorage key (theme) to remember your light- or dark-mode preference between visits. That value never leaves your browser. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.

Contact form

The contact form is currently a stub. When it is wired to a backend, the information you submit (name, email, message) will be used only to respond to your enquiry and will not be added to any mailing list without your explicit consent. We will update this page when that change ships.

Third-party links

This site links to external websites including the Canada Revenue Agency, provincial governments, and other reference sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for their behaviour.

The “Revised” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be noted in our What’s New log.
