Investment Return Calculator

Compound growth is the single most useful concept in long-term investing — and the easiest to mis-estimate by eye. This calculator projects the future value of recurring contributions, both before and after a chosen inflation assumption.

The investment-return calculator answers the question “if I save $X per year at Y% over Z years, what will I have?” — and crucially, it answers it in both nominal and real (after-inflation) dollars. Mortgage-amortisation logic for debt-side compounding is on the Loan & Mortgage Calculator.
